Ms. Stojanovska is both a virtuoso pianist, a compelling composer, and an expert proponent of a specific area of the repertoire. We do not see this combination of skills in a single person any longer, since the days of the iconic Russian émigré Sergei Rachmaninoff.

Ms. Stojanovska is comfortable and convincing in any style, switching from dramatic rhetoric to intimate poetry with ease. She understands the syntax and elusive meanings of late Schubert, for example, yet can also bring out the vibrant and earthy character of Russian character pieces. Hers is a graceful virtuosity that allows her to project the musical intent and inherent colors in a work, which is the mark of a true artist: one who can make their interpretation seem, for the moment, like the only possible solution.

I was just thrilled to see how Ms. Stojanovska could go into the depth in her rendition with unique intentions and imaginations of my writing and brought my music to life. It was just an incredible experience to see that such a young musician can have an old soul in music understanding and interpretation. There are only a few pianists in our country that would level her performance skills.
